System USA, Inc. of Watsonville, California, works in close cooperation with well-known Dutch greenhouse manufacturer Ammerlan Construction B.V. in Horst, Netherlands, to design and construct a range of glass, acrylic, and polycarbonate custom greenhouses in both standard and custom sizes. We have decades of greenhouse manufacturing and construction experience; and since 1981, have set the standard for excellence in modern, complete and efficient greenhouse facilities.

SYSTEM USA, INC GREENHOUSES

Because we manufacture all of the steel and aluminum pieces in our own Netherlands and Watsonville, California, warehouses, we can take custom orders. We make it easy to get exactly what you want for your backyard greenhouse, allowing you to extend your growing season.

We’re known for manufacturing the popular BKT rack and pinion system, and for the special attention we pay to greenhouse covering materials. While our primary market is large growers, we also offer smaller greenhouses for family growers. Our polycarbonate, acrylic sheets, and low-iron tempered glass are all double-glazed for durability; and our skilled builders are available to securely mount your pre-fabricated construction and glazing systems.

Company History

Climate-controlled greenhouses allow you to make the most of any growing season. We understand your crops require careful management, and therefore, manufacture leading-edge greenhouses that maximize your profits. While we started out small, we now operate as a full greenhouse builder, offering a range of custom greenhouse solutions for everyone from backyard DIYers to commercial, large-scale operations. Below, you’ll find a brief history of our company.

1979
Peter Fryn moved from Holland to Denver, Colorado and installed curtain systems at Euser Greenhouses and Veldkamps in Golden.

1981
Peter came to California to install curtains at Diana Greenhouses and Yoshida Farms. He then started to sell Olimex machines and parts at P. H. Motors with help from Ronald Eveleens, the son of the founder of Olimex Holland.

1984
Greenhouse System USA incorporated.

1992
The company moved to Casserly Road, Watsonville.

Today
We are still located on Casserly Road in Watsonville, California, and are now known as the premier builder of robust, climate-controlled greenhouses. We aim to serve the greater need for crop stability in the agricultural industry by specializing in custom commercial structures and prebuilt hobby units. We also offer full maintenance and upgrade services.
